It snowed here finally, was waiting for it because we haven't had any so far and it's become a yearly thing recently. It never used to be. Before the last 3 years I'd seen snow probably about 3 times in my whole life and then about 3 years ago it started to snow 3 times a year...and now I'm a bit confused when there isn't snow.

Sleep has started to slip again slowly. Did that epic walk from Lewes to Newhaven with my brother again on Friday, then Friday night didn't sleep until late, got about 5 hours, then didn't sleep the minute I got home from work Saturday either, even though I was staving a collapse the whole day at work - lol man whilst I was not sleeping on Saturday ( Read more... )

I can dance to this and regularly do actually much to my mother's great amusement...and by amusement I mean mockery.

I like the lyrics too...I especially like the, "hang your head in shame" part.

I tell you watching cheerleaders daaance has a certain hypnotic appeal, especially when listening to the music of Severed Heads. It's the case, in my experience, that most pieces of video set to music (fanvids mainly) will sync in some regard with most pieces of music but yes, particularly Severed Heads and cheerleaders.

Needless to say I am now deeply impressed.

All sorts of no doubt torturous, tenuous connections to music I love are spilling free in my head. I hear NEW ORDER, early Scritti Politti and Empire of the Sun in places when I listen to certain songs.
